Three Reasons to Complete the CCAP Host Family Survey
No Comment |Posted by: nmeng on March 31, 2009
The deadline for completing the CCAP Host Family Survey has been extended until 4/10/09.
Top Three Reasons to Complete the CCAP Host Family Survey:
- The chance to win a $1000.00 program fee discount or $1000.00 American Express Gift Card
- $20.00 Panera Gift Card from me (Lower Eastern Shore active families)
- New programs, services and initiatives to support you more effectively
What is the Host Family Survey?
In the fall and spring of each year, CCAP invites active host families to share feedback on their program experience through a customer satisfaction survey. We depend on the feedback from these surveys (which only take about 15 minutes to complete). Through your responses we find ways to support you more effectively through new program additions and enhancements.
Please check your email for more information. If you did not receive the email or need more info about how to access the survey, please contact me.
This past year we launched numerous new programs, services and initiatives as a direct result of your feedback, including:
- Host family “Infosource” - An online information resource giving host families extensive program information at their fingertips through their online accounts
- Online payment center - Access to account information including the ability to make payments, print statements and select payment plans from the convenience of their own computer at any time of day or night
- Consultative matching sessions - The opportunity during our one-to-one matching process to review multiple au pair applications in consultation with a placement manager to find the best candidate
- Weekend office hours for matching support - Providing families with the placement support they need during times when they are most available
- “Repeat Rewards Program” - Cultural Care Au Pair’s expanded package of benefits for repeating families
- “Peace of Mind Guarantee” - An attractive financial safeguard program offering options for families who suffer a job loss
We look forward to your thoughts and comments on these new initiatives as well as your feedback on your program experience in general. The short survey should take only about 15 minutes to complete. Please try to answer all of the questions; however, if a question does not apply to you, simply leave it blank. By completing the survey, you will be entered automatically into a drawing in which two families will each receive a $1000 program fee discount or, if you do not have a current balance, a $1000 American Express gift card to use at your own discretion! You will also receive a $20.00 Panera Gift Card from me, your LCC, if you are an active family that I support.
Please be sure to complete the survey no later than April 10th to be eligible. Rest assured that your responses, while not anonymous, will only be used to assist and inform the staff of Cultural Care and will not be shared with others or used in any other way.
Lower Eastern Shore Au Pairs Welcome Spring

Our March Au Pair Meeting couldn’t have taken place on a more beautiful day, especially since the theme was Spring. The idea behind the activities for the meeting evolved when Katke, an au pair from the Czech Republic, asked how American families celebrated Spring and Easter. We were quick to explain that not everyone celebrates the religious holiday of Easter and to differentiate the religious holiday from the commercial or popular customs of the season, such as the Easter Bunny, Easter baskets and eggs.
While the au pairs shared stories about spring festivities and Easter traditions from their countries, they decorated (and ate) their own eggs and took part in a hunt for brightly colored, candy-filled, plastic eggs outside. Those of us observing learned that it was wise to stay out of the way of au pairs on the hunt for chocolate eggs, jelly beans, and brightly colored Peeps.
Next month’s meeting will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Watch for details.
