Join Us Poolside for July’s Au Pair Meeting

- Join us on July 26th for poolside fun!
July’s Au Pair meeting will take place poolside in Salisbury, Maryland as we complete our Water Safety Continuing Education module. There will also be a barbecue, so bring an appetite, a towel, sunblock and a plan to have fun.

2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location and directions have been emailed so check your mailbox.
If you live near Ocean City and need a ride to Salisbury or would like to caravan over with me, we will be leaving my house at 1:30 p.m.
If you are unable to make the July 26th meeting, I will be holding a makeup meeting at my house at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29th.

Au Pairs Can Attend Weekend Classes in Maryland
Here’s great news for au pairs and host families in Maryland looking for convenient and affordable classes for au pairs. Sojourner-Douglass College offers weekend au pair courses, which fulfill the au pair program’s required educational component.
Offered six times a year, each weekend course is different and sessions may include but are not limited to Nutrition, American History, American Justice, Psychology, American Culture, History of American Music, Smithsonian System, Entrepreneurship in America, Hospitality Industry, American Family, Educational games, children and poisons, Storytelling through crafts, and TOEFL.
The courses cost around $250.00. Dates for upcoming course weekends are:
